The Cabernet Franc is a French oak-aged, dry red wine with subtle aromas of black pepper with hints of red fruit. Raspberries and cherries often come to mind when Cabernet Franc is swirled in the glass. A bit lighter, less intense, and with a shorter finish than its son, Cabernet Sauvignon, it is a lovely wine to pair with less hearty meals, yet it can hold its own with those as well!
