 Hickory Hill Vineyards celebrates 11 years as a winery and decades of growing wine grapes at Smith Mountain Lake. First planted as a hobby vineyard in 1984 by Roanoke natives with lake property, Hickory Hill has slowly grown over 28 years into a successful 3 generation family wine business with acclaimed wines and regional distribution in stores and restaurants. Along with a popular “Lake series” of wines made in a light & fruity style, we offer vintage estate grown Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc and a consistently award winning Cabernet Sauvignon.
